Stay with us
More than a bed and a bath, our places are whole properties for you to enjoy while in the St. Louis area.
Whether you are here for business, for family, or for exploring, we are happy to be your home base.
Tin ceilings, hardwood floors, and a brand new oversized main level handicapped accessible master bathroom are only a few of the stunning features of the Bank Haus.
Bring your friends for a wine country getaway, ride the Katy Trail, or celebrate a wedding at one of the nearby wedding venues. Located on the Katy Trail in Marthasville, Missouri, the Bank Haus is in Missouri wine country and less than an hour from St. Louis.
The Bank Haus is 2 levels with the main level being handicapped accessible. It sleeps a total of 12 people and has 4 bedrooms, 2-1/2 bathrooms, and an open living, dining, and kitchen area, as well as a washer/dryer in a vault.
The Bank Haus is dog friendly for pre-approved dogs.
For large groups, reserve both the Katy Haus and Bank Haus as they are next door to one another.
Built in 1940, the Hoover Haus is fully renovated with hardwood floors and a beautiful mix of industrial and vintage decor.
An ideal central location for a stay in Missouri, the Show Me state. Centrally located to St. Louis, wine country, and river floats, the Hoover Haus hosts the discerning business traveler, the solo traveler, and couples and small families looking to enjoy the St. Louis area.
The Hoover Haus has 2 bedrooms, both with queen size beds, a full bathroom, and an open living, dining, and kitchen area.
The Hoover Haus was created as a retreat of peace and relaxation while you are in the area.
Whether you are here for business, for exploring Missouri parks and wine country, for biking the Katy Trail, for the dog shows and competitions at Purina Farms, or visiting family for a wedding or holiday, the Hoover Haus will be your place to rejuvenate.
I couldn’t resist painting the porch and steps a gorgeous blue, making the white rocking chairs even more inviting, perfect for a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of a local craft beer or wine.
The living area features an incredibly gorgeous area rug that you want to dig your toes into when you sit back to catch up on your Netflix series. The Roku smart TV has cable as well as Dish Sling, You Tube, Spotify, and more.
Note that you will need to have your own Netflix, Hulu, Dish. etc. accounts to access those features as we do not share our accounts with you.
Fully equipped with all major appliances as well as several small appliances that you can’t live without (i.e. Keurig, regular coffeemaker, teapot).
The Hoover Haus is equipped with white place settings, solid flatware, and sleek glassware, as well as wine glasses for relaxing and children’s settings for small families.
With crisp white linens from The Distinguished Guest and deliciously comfortable beds, your sleep is high priority at the Hoover Haus.
Each bedroom also features original art from the owner, canvases of bicycles found during her travels as a commercial photographer.
With white subway tile and fluffy white towels, the bathroom is completely renovated and refreshed. Featuring a large rain shower head, I made sure to have a large hot water heater.
The backyard is huge, with plenty of room to run or simply take a walk under the trees.
A small dog is welcome to come with you, but only with prior approval. Please note that the town requires that you keep your dog on a leash outside and clean up the poo. There is a $25/night pet fee plus tax that will be sent as a payment request after your reservation is accepted.
If you are coming to the area for your dog(s) to compete or show at the Purina Farms Event Center, please message us for special consideration as well as special dog fee pricing.

Missouri Haus is the creation of Tyann Marcink, a 6th generation German descendant in the Franklin County area.
Tyann has been a vacation rental host since 2007, beginning with her properties in Branson, Missouri (see them at Vacation Home in Branson) and is considered a leader in the vacation rental industry, speaking at conferences including the HomeAway Summit, the Vacation Rental Success Summit, and the Vacation Rental World Summit.
Do you prefer to book on a listing site instead of directly with Tyann?
Missouri Haus is on both HomeAway/VRBO and AirBnB for your convenience. Simply note that listing sites do charge additional service fees to travelers, so your best rate will always be when you book direct with an owner.
P.S. If you have never signed up for AirBnB, feel free to use my referral link to save on your first stay (at any AirBnB place, not just mine). Note that this program is through AirBnB and not directly through Missouri Haus or Tyann Marcink. Enjoy!
