The Hound Haus is a renovated A-frame dog-friendly tiny house centrally located to Purina Farms, WashMo, wine country, and St. Louis.

Ideal for a stay in the Show Me state for solo travelers, dog show competitors, and couples looking to enjoy the greater St. Louis area.

The home comes with a large TV, fully equipped kitchen, linens and towels, WIFI, and is set in the country. Note there are 2 other homes on the property that share the gravel drive as well.

The Hound Haus has an open living, dining, and kitchen area, and a queen sized bed in the upstairs loft. Full bathroom located on the main level past the kitchen. Only 331 sq. ft. total, it is truly a tiny house!

Only 8-10 minutes to the Purina Events Center, the Hound Haus is popular with guests competing at events held throughout the year.

LIVING AREA

The living area has a beautiful rug, a love seat, and a flat screen smart TV with your favorite streaming apps already downloaded and ready for you to log into.

*Note that you will need to have your own Netflix, Hulu, Dish. etc. accounts to access those features as we do not share our accounts with you.

KITCHEN

Fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, and microwave as well as several small appliances that you can’t live without (i.e. Keurig, regular coffeemaker, teapot). The Hound Haus is equipped with white place settings, solid flatware, and glassware.

BEDROOM

With crisp white linens and a deliciously comfortable bed, your sleep is high priority at the Hound Haus. The loft bedroom has a sliding glass door for lots of natural light and a mounted TV on the wall.

BATHROOM

The clean, well lit bathroom just off the kitchen features a large mirror and has a full size step in shower. We provide shampoo and conditioner as well as a bar of locally made goat milk soap for each stay.

The tiny house has a small front porch with chairs to enjoy a cup of morning coffee or relax in the evening with local beer or wine while Fido plays in the yard.

Please remember to pick up after your dogs do their business. We have a dog basket with poo bags so you will always have some nearby to help keep the yard clean for all guests.

The Fox Haus shares the gravel drive and acreage with our Setter Haus and Fox Haus. You will pass by the other two homes to get to the Fox Haus. Have friends with you? Book all three houses.

Hound Haus was a perfect weekend getaway! It is definitely a very tiny house, but has everything you need for 1-2 people and 1-2 pups! It was perfectly clean, easy to access, and adorable. My husband loved it and said he would love to return in the future.

GETTING AROUND

You will need a vehicle to get around the area. Although rideshare from Uber is available, there are very few Uber drivers in the area.
